Edney also claimed that when she spoke with Wallace, the sister had approximately eight or so friends who supported her. The group sat in a circle with some donuts, reminiscing about Schermerhorn’s life and assuring Wallace that they had her back. Wallace stated that the sense of community is what is keeping her going right now.
